How do I find peer-reviewed articles?

To find peer-reviewed articles, click on the link to one of our databases. Links for the databases can be found on our home page under the section "Search for Ebooks, Articles from Journals, Newspapers, Magazines." On the POD page, they can be found under the section "Access our Databases," on the right side of the page. If you're not sure which database to use, click on the link to our Database A to Z List: https://alvincollege.libguides.com/az.php

When searching for your topic in the database, be sure to check the box labelled "Peer-reviewed." It is located beneath the search box.

If you need more help searching our databases, please contact us when the library is open, Monday through Thursday, 7:30 am - 8:00 pm and Friday, 7:30 am - 5:00 pm. Our summer hours are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 am - 7:00 pm and Friday, 7:30 am - 5:00 pm.
